This book tells a story. It’s a story of liberation, of taking the first steps towards understanding the foundations of computing, writing your own code, and creating your own media without the bonds of existing software tools. This story is not reserved for computer scientists and engineers. This story is for you.

Christian Ulmen is unbelievable. In the series “My new Boyfriend” candidates had to stand three days with him and introduce him to friends, family etc… Quite a few quit even though they lost 10k euro.
18 hours until the launch of Ulmen.tv, featuring spin-ofs with the characters.

cool documentation. but what’s about the german part in electronic music?
its especially about techno - not electronic music in general. they are talking about kraftwerk as an influence, but thats def. no techno.

This is really stunning. I never did computer animation myself but got to learn quite a bit about it during my studies. It’s still impressing how things keep on improving. I always wonder when we reach the “goal”. How far can or will we go?
ya, stunning… but sometimes the technology we work with (+what’s obvious to come in the future) scares me.
