While I was walking through Berlin this morning I’ve been thinking about my time here in this great city. I live here since Sept ‘08 and came for work. I never had problems interacting with other people but since I’m not in an university I thought it would be very difficult to get to know other people and even to establish friendships (because I’ll probably only stay till Sept ‘09). To my surprise I got to know so many interesting and nice people. A lot of them became my friends (and for the record: beloved ones) and people who know me for a longer time know that it is difficult for me to call someone a friend because by the slightest antipathy towards a person I don’t really care about her/him.
I’m thankful for all the experiences I’ve made in my life and this one is a very special one.
